    During initial attack of the Little Fire, Lake-Napa Unit, California Department of Forestry (now CAL FIRE), an engine crewmember was burned when he fell into a small ditch just as the flames reached the area. He received burns on both hands, both forearms, both knees, the right buttocks and on his face. He was helped out by nearby firefighters and transported to the hospital.
