  • Description:

    Toward the end of the operational period, a crewmember from an Interagency Hotshot Crew was struck by a tree while working to suppress a spot fire on the Six Rivers Complex, on the Six Rivers National Forest in California. The firefighter was transported by a non-USFS helicopter to a hospital in Redding, CA. The firefighter suffered serious spinal injuries.
