Description:
On May 5, 2004, the Long Jim III Prescribed Fire was ignited on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The prescribed fire escaped the burn unit that same day and was declared a wildland fire. After the prescribed fire was declared a wildland fire, the Burn Boss assumed the role of the Incident Commander and the Burn Boss Trainee assumed the role of Operations Chief.
