Around 0900 the decision is made to evacuate the Incident Command Post (ICP). This decision is communicated via a preidentified text string. The movement of pre-identified personnel and their essential equipment (computers, etc.) is orderly and methodical. Engines and other operational resources begin arriving in the ICP area to begin structure protection prep work. The IC accepts that there may be a loss of some contractor property.
