McLeod Fire Bee Sting Incident 2018

    Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest: A crew member from a contract crew module was stung multiple times by bees while on the fireline. The patient was moved to a vehicle where he experienced hives, swelling of the nasal airway and arms/legs. A Non-Forest Service EMT provided care to patient and he was driven to an awaiting county ambulance for transport to the hospital. The patient was later released back to full duty.
