  • Description:

    Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest: A contract firefighter was spraying water on a tree's hot spot when a branch from above the hot spot broke off and glanced the left side of the firefighter's face, right wrist and right leg. Non-Forest Service EMTs iced the wrist and flushed the eye. The firefighter was taken by ambulance to the hospital and was assessed by an eye specialist for scratches to eye.
