  • Description:

    Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest: A U.S. Forest Service firefighter cutting a snag was hit by the top of the tree when it broke off. Forest Service EMTs stabilized the patient and assisted in hiking him to a ground ambulance. The patient was admitted to a hospital in Brewster, Washington and released the following day, diagnosed with severe bruising to the shoulder.
