  • Description:

    Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest: A contract Firefighter slipped and fell walking down a fireline. The Firefighter complained of severe pain and was unable to walk. A U.S. Forest Service EMT stabilized and packaged the patient for transport via liter to a ground ambulance. The patient was taken and admitted to a hospital in Brewster, Washington and released the following day--diagnosed with muscle strain.
