Description:
On the Middle Fork Complex on the Willamette National Forest, Oregon, a firefighter was transported to the hospital due to a diabetic issue. The firefighter had failed to eat dinner. Their diabetic monitoring device therefore sent a message to the firefighter’s significant other, who called the fire camp. Next, the IMT went to check on the firefighter. The patient was then transported to the hospital, treated, released and de-mobbed.
