    On May 9, 2005, the U.S. Forest Service's Eastern Region Regional Forester Randy Moore dispatched an investigative team to  the Chippewa National Forest to investigate an accident that had occurred during the Mississippi Meadows Prescribed Fire four days earlier. Regional Forester Moore made this decision after the Chippewa National Forest Supervisor provided him with additional information on the circumstances of the accident and the extent of the employee’s injuries.
