Description:
This incident occurred on the Monument Fire on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, California. A firefighter from a felling module was struck in the head by a tree branch, resulting in the loss of consciousness. The patient was taken by ground transport to a local medical facility, where the injury was determined to be a skull fracture. The patient passed all neurological tests and was then transported to another medical facility for further evaluation.
