Description:
Captain Leo Andrew Powell and members of his fire department responded to a mutual-aid wildland fire at 1220 hours. Captain Powell was the driver/operator of a brush truck. All Morgan Township units were back in service at 1432 hours. At approximately 1745 hours, Captain Powell became ill at his residence and could not be revived. His death was caused by a heart attack.
