    While breaking down a spike camp at the Mosquito Fire, Tahoe National Forest, California, a contractor was securing a supply load in a truck, lost balance, and fell. In the process of going to the ground, the ring got caught on a piece of metal tubing, which cause the finger to be degloved. Medics and an incident ambulance provided initial care and transported to the local hospital.
