Description:
A firefighter from a contract Type 2 handcrew collapsed on the Nabob incident on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at approximately 1:00 p.m. The contract crew was rehabilitating a fireline by pulling brush back over fireline that connected with the Pacific Crest Trail. The crew had just taken a lunch break when the firefighter collapsed. EMTs on scene and multiple other EMS resources attempted to revive the firefighter and were unsuccessful.
