Description:
On May 7, 1937, Fred Dunlap, a forester for the U.S. Forest Service and Navy veteran of World War I, was killed by an unreported cause on a wildfire on the Nicolet National Forest in Wisconsin. Dunlap was assigned by the Forest Service to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp at Mountain, Wisconsin.
