Description:
John Bramet, a University of Idaho student enrolled with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was hit by a tree while his crew was assigned to the Pack River Fire on the Kaniksu National Forest in Idaho. Bramet was taken to a hospital in northern Idaho where he passed away the following day, August 19, 1934. At that time,1,000 firefighters were on the lines of the Pack Creek Fire.
