  • Description:

    At a brand new ICP on the Park Fire in Northern California, generators were placed close to the main concentration of ICP trailers, known as "Main Street." Safety Officers expressed concern at the close proximity and smell of exhaust. On September 1, an occupant of a trailer closest to the generators showed symptoms of possible carbon monoxide exposure, including a very high reading of CO in the blood. The generators were moved as far from the trailers as power cables would allow.
