Description:
A firefighter on the Peak Fire on the Sequoia National Forest, California, exhibited symptoms of Heat-Related Illness (HRI). The patient was transported off the fire via helicopter to an air ambulance that flew the patient to the hospital. The firefighter was treated and released and returned to light duty for a few days.
