Description:
On July 21, 2024, three members of a camp crew on the Pioneer Fire on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest were involved in a UTV accident when the driver lost control and crashed into the side railing of a wooden bridge. One patient had altered mental status, one had a hematoma on the forehead and one had a possibly fractured forearm. Due to the remoteness of the accident, the patients were flown by helicopter to local medical facilities.
