Description:
An engine crewmember suffered a heat-related Injury. A line paramedic responded and assessed the patient, administering O2 and an IV. Due to their location, a short-haul ship was requested along with an air ambulance. The patient was short-hauled successfully to a site where an air ambulance and a ground ambulance was waiting. After further assessment, the air ambulance was released, the patient was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital and went home later that evening.
