Description:
An EMT-qualified firefighter was walking through the prescribed fire unit on the Ouchita National Forest when they “took a bad step” and injured their leg. The firefighter called in a “green” medical and treated themselves. Transported to hospital via an agency-owned vehicle with a broken leg. Treated and released with follow up treatment planned.
