Description:
During mop-up operations on the Punkin Fire on Arizona State Division of Forestry lands, a U.S. Forest Service Firefighter stepped into hot ash, resulting in a 2-inch by 2-inch burn to the lower leg. The firefighter was transported to the hospital by an agency vehicle, was treated and released back to full duty.
