    August 18, 2018 - Rabbit Foot Fire Salmon-Challis National Forest, Idaho 

    After experiencing nearly nine days of intermittent white noise—locking out the Command repeater system for 10 to 30 minutes at a time—the Incident Management Team (IMT) called for an operational stand-down until radio issues could be resolved. This stand-down lasted two days until it was eventually discovered that interference from a third party was the cause of the problem and communication was restored.
