    In the past, Incident Management Teams would do their ICP briefing then go do another briefing over the radio to Spike Camps. This procedure has several drawbacks, including the fact that Spike Camp resources are delayed getting out to field. 

    Local briefing speakers that can be used for this are just amplified speakers plugged into a handheld audio jack. If no amplified speakers are available, program a few handhelds to receive the ICP briefing presenter’s transmit frequency directly.
