Description:
Two crew members from the Navajo Interagency Hotshot Crew were injured by a burning snag while conducting fire suppression activities on the Rattlesnake Creek Fire, burning near Pollock, Idaho on the Clearwater National Forest. The two firefighters were moved from the fireline to awaiting ambulances that transported them to a hospital in McCall, Idaho. Both firefighters were treated and released from the hospital. One was released to go home and the other will be taken to a burn facility in Salt Lake City for additional care.
