Description:
An engine crewmember suffered a heat related injury (dehydration and extreme cramping) while assigned to the Red Mountain Fire in Arizona. Local law enforcement (Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department) provided on-scene medical support. The firefighter was transported via ambulance to the hospital. The firefighter was treated and released on the same day.
