  • Description:

    On August 25, a falling team was engaged in hazard tree falling in Division Echo of the Ridge Creek Fire on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The top of a hung-up tree broke off and struck the faller. The faller was hit on his helmet, neck, shoulder, and back. The faller received immediate medical care from resources on the fire and was transported via helicopter to a hospital where he spent two days before being released.
