Description:
The National Forests in Alabama, Talladega National Forest, Talladega Ranger District conducted the School House C&D prescribed burns 3.5 miles northeast of Hollins, AL on April 19th, 2021. On April 21, 2021 the School House C prescribed burn escaped and was converted to a wildfire by the local unit. The fire was contained at 14 acres on private land and 1 abandoned structure was destroyed. No injuries resulted from the escape.
