Description:
A member of an Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC) assigned to the Slide Fire, Mendocino National Forest, California, was hoisted from the fireline by a CAL FIRE hoist-capable helicopter and transported to the hospital in Chico, CA. The crewmember was diagnosed with heat exhaustion and released to three days of light duty on 8/16/2023.
