Description:
A crewmember of an initial attack crew on the Steel Fire in Idaho was struck—and carried downhill—by a chunk of rolling log. The firefighter was transported by an agency helicopter to the hospital and diagnosed with a dislocated collar bone and broken shoulder. The firefighter was treated and released with plans to see an orthopedic surgeon for shoulder surgery.
