Stewart Creek Fire Cardiac Medivac 2018

An Interagency Hotshot Crew firefighter on the Stewart Creek Fire showed signs of an apparent cardiac event with chest pains and shortness of breath. The patient was assessed by EMTs who called for an air ambulance. An agency helicopter picked up the patient at a helispot and was flown by the waiting air ambulance to a hospital in Boise. The patient was admitted and has since been released.
