    On September 4, 2021, Texas A&M Forest Service employees were involved in the second day of clearing tree blowdown from a severe storm. Two fallers (a FAL3 and FAL2) assessed a snag next to a power pole. After using a pole saw to remove a limb from the snag that blocked felling it in the intended lay, the FAL2 was nearly struck when the snag fell unexpectedly.
