Description:
On the Timber Mountain Prescribed Fire on the Colville National Forest in Washington, a firefighter stepped into a stump hole ash pit and received 1st and 2nd degree burns to the calf area. The individual was transported to a nearby medical center and received treatment. A burn center was not determined to be necessary. An updated report two days later, stated: “superficial burns, salve and dressing change daily.”
