    A felling team sized up a 30" diameter, 60' tall sugar pine snag. They determined the tree needed to be felled downhill. Once it fell, the tree continued down the steep slope. Hearing the warning shouts from above, a fire crewmember left the area of parked pickup trucks on the road below the tree-felling operation. The sliding log smashed the parked pickup, causing major damage. There were no injuries.
