    Edward McKinney, 44, a fire dispatcher at the Tulare Ranger Unit office in Visalia for the California Department of Forestry (now CAL FIRE), suffered a heart attack on duty. McKinney passed away at the hospital. He was a 12-year veteran of CDF.
