    While engaged in work at the Ranger Station compound on the Umpqua National Forest, Oregon, a firefighter fell off a ladder resulting in serious injuries. The firefighter was flown to the hospital, has been through surgeries, and is currently in ICU. A regional response team and a CARE team have been assembled to assist with the response to the incident.
