Description:
Fire motorcycle dispatch rider Charles Davis was killed when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident as he rode from his station in Banning to the Waterman Canyon Fire, San Bernardino National Forest. At the time the fire was burning over an area larger than 1000 acres and more than 1000 firefighters were employed to suppress the fire.
