Description:
During day shift on the Whiskey Creek Fire, two firefighters were injured during a scramble as a hazard tree was felled. One firefighter received burn injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon, where he was treated and released that evening. The firefighter recovered at home. Another firefighter received a knee injury and was treated at the fire by a local Rapid Extraction Module Support (REMS) unit.
