    On August 27, around 9 p.m. on the Woods Cabin Fire in northeastern Wyoming, a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Type 6 Engine was lost during suppression activities. The engine was parked within the burned perimeter and unattended while the crew coordinated with local cooperators for active suppression of the fire at the heel.
